- We specialize in accident treatments
We specialize in car accident injuries and all other personal injury accidents (motorcycle, slip & falls, dog bites, etc).
We treat each case on an individual basis and not just one treatment “assembly line” fits all.
Whether the accident was severe or mild, it is extremely important that you get examined by a trained professional such as a chiropractor who can help determine if your injuries are serious and give you the treatment necessary for the proper correction of your symptoms.
Many times patients are unaware of the severity of their injuries in the first few days or even weeks after the accident.
Unfortunately insurance companies are notorious for denying car accident claims if the victim did not contact a chiropractor that specializes in car accident injuries treatment within the first 2 weeks following the accident.
Do We Accept Lawyer Liens/work with attorneys?
Yes. Our office ALWAYS accepts attorney liens. In fact, our office works with all the top personal injury attorneys in Ventura County,
3 million Auto Accidents/year. 34% of the people go see a chiropractor, that is more than any other medical professional.
What are Common Symptoms After a Car Accident?
The most common forms of injury from a car accident are neck and back injuries.
But patients can suffer injuries anywhere in there body and they can range from mild to severe, things like muscle spasms, whiplash, herniated discs, nerve impingement, and more.
Many times, symptoms have a delayed onset. However, when you come in to our office and we exam you, we will point out common things or symptoms to watch out for in the following days/weeks after an accident that many patients aren’t aware of.
Common symptoms include:
- Neck pain and stiffness
- Shoulder and between shoulder blades pain
- Numbness and tingling down arms and/or legs
- Mid back and Low back pain
- Joint pain
- Anxiety / Depression / Fatigue / Difficulty sleeping
- Loss of concentration
- Dizziness or balance problems
Can I just take some pain or anti-inflammatory medication?
Medications can occasionally relieve some of your symptoms of a car accident injury, unfortunately, that medication is only covering up the underlying structural damage such as a misaligned vertebrae and injured muscles.
If you continue to cover-up that underlying structural damage, you will likely have long lasting effects that may not be prevented by taking the medications alone.
Occasionally, our patients are unable to return back to work right away due to their symptoms from the accident. We will help you fill out the forms for disability (which we have at our office) so you don’t have to go anywhere else and we can take you off work for as long as it takes you to fully recover.
